James Edward Moir MacArthur (1926-33) of that Ilk, Chief of the Clan Arthur, died on 1st April 2004 at the age of 89. He was a prefect and a keen piper. Kathleen Colman (Hon), widow of Tim Colman (Nippers’ Headmaster, 1932-58) died peacefully in Wimbledon on 30th December, 2003, at the age of 92. Her first contact with Loretto had been in 1943 when as Mrs McMurray she sent the first two of her three sons to the Nippers, to be followed in 1945 by the youngest.
