For our latest OL Spotlight we're delighted to feature Robin Mackie (1978) (pictured left) who, alongside Luna de Casanova, is the author of an exciting new thriller titled Consequential Loss. This latest publication is also available as an audiobook, read by Pip Torrens (Poldark, The Crown, Preacher).

On Thursday 4th December 2025, Loretto pupil Jake T (L6) and Loretto's Musician-in-Residence, Emily Phillips, both performed with the National Youth Choir of Scotland (NYCOS) and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra for the orchestra's 90th Anniversary Celebration.

We are thrilled to announce that Loretto School is partnering with Global Junior Golf to host the Loretto Juniors International at the Royal Musselburgh Golf Club from 22nd to 25th June 2026. This is the first ever Global Junior Golf tournament to be held in Scotland and we are incredibly proud that Loretto has been chosen to host.

For our latest OL Spotlight we're delighted to feature Dr Francesca Dakin (2014), who is a Senior Digital Health Researcher and Mildred Blaxter Fellow at the University of Oxford. She also holds a Junior Research Fellowship at the Centre for Personalised Medicine at St Anne’s College. Having recently completed her DPhil (Oxford’s version of a PhD) in Medical Sciences, Francesca continues to conduct research on health technologies and healthcare improvement in the NHS.
