Every year, a group of OL anglers gets together on the waters of Loch Walton in the Campsie Hills, to fish for the highly-coveted OL Tankards. This day happens by courtesy of Loch Walton Angling Club members George Willis (1958) and Christopher Drapper (1968), and it is always a thoroughly enjoyable outing.

Lunch is included and, as is now tradition, most of the party go on to Fintry Sports Club for dinner in the evening.

This year’s outing is scheduled for Saturday 16th May 2026 and the group is always keen to welcome new OL anglers.
