Loretto School's Entrepreneur in Residence is in the process of organising this year's Careers Fair and would greatly appreciate support from the OL community. If you are free on the evening of Wednesday 9th October and keen to mentor and encourage current Loretto pupils, please read on and register your interest via the following form.

Careers Fair Background

After a successful event last year, in collaboration with Friends of Loretto, we’re delighted to announce that Loretto's Careers Fair will return on Wednesday 9th October 2024. The aim of this Careers Fair is to provide Senior School pupils with the valuable opportunity to research different careers and pathways, as well as expanding their network with potential future recruiters. The event will also help pupils establish work experience connections for later in the academic year. 

Last year we hosted an incredible selection of impressive individuals and companies, many of whom contributed from the OL community, and I would like to once again invite OLs to participate as exhibitors.

We have repeatedly seen how much pupils engage with OLs who were once in their shoes (or blazer!) and they will benefit greatly from your experience, knowledge and wisdom as they start preparing for life beyond Loretto.

Format

This year's event will run from 6:30pm-8:00pm and, to give you further opportunity to connect with others in the Loretto community, you are invited to join us for Tea in the Dining Hall at 5:45pm.

Pupils will be able to book one-to-one slots with exhibitors of interest prior to the event. This format worked well last year with almost two hundred pupils in attendance!

Where

The event will take place in Pinkie House, Loretto School in the beautiful Painted Gallery and Ronald Graham Suite.
