On Thursday 4th December 2025, Loretto pupil Jake T (L6) and Loretto's Musician-in-Residence, Emily Phillips, both performed with the National Youth Choir of Scotland (NYCOS) and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra for the orchestra's 90th Anniversary Celebration. 

The concert was live streamed on BBC Radio 3 and it is also available here on BBC Sounds.

The first half of the concert was Greig's Piano Concerto performed by Steven Hough. The second half included NYCOS singing Michael Tippett's A Child of our Time, which is a powerful piece of music written about WW2.

The concert will also be televised on BBC Four in due course, although an exact date is yet to be confirmed.
