As part of Loretto Day 2026, it was our great joy to welcome back groups of Leavers from 1966, 1976, 1986 and 1996 for a reunion BBQ.

Celebrating 60, 50, 40 and 30 year reunions under glorious blue skies and sunshine, it was wonderful to welcome around 40 faces for food, drinks and plenty of reminiscing.

Special mention must go to Keith D. Brodie (1966) and David J. Houston (1966) for their efforts in rounding up an excellent turnout from their year group – and to Keith, in particular, for flying all the way over from Australia!

We were pleased to welcome a good number of those in attendance for the morning Chapel Service, followed by a tour of the school led by Lower Sixth pupils Francesa, Henry and Ben.

Following the BBQ, a number of groups continued their festivities into the evening with drinks at The Ship Inn in Musselburgh and dinner in Edinburgh.
