Our annual OLs vs 1st XI Cricket Match was another hugely enjoyable day and we're delighted to say that, this time, the OLs came out on top!

The 1st XI batted first in a time game and set a score of 143, boosted by a brilliant 55 from Rhett H (L6). However, after last year's loss, the OLs were fired up. An early wobble left them 6-2, but Elliot Keenan (2012) once again shone with the bat, scoring 53 before retiring. The remining OLs then saw the game through to win by 4 wickets.

It was another fun, well-spirited match, with a couple of sibling rivalries providing extra entertainment. Perhaps the highlight of the day was Rory L (L6) clean bowling his older brother (and ride home) Archie Lang (2022), who subsequently announced to the crowd as he walked off that Rory could 'enjoy the walk home' that evening!
