50th Anniversary of Chapel Extension

This year the school Chapel celebrates the 50th Anniversary of its extension and embellishment. We thought it would be good to mark this event by building a plinth and placing a bell on it to call the community to weekly worship. Currently the Chapel has no bell.We found that the bell gifted by Lorettonians in Memory of Headmaster A R Smith (Sconnie Smith) was currently unused being deemed too loud for the clock tower and silenced only weeks after it was put there! We have had it refurbished and placed on the plinth and would be delighted if you could join us at 10.30am on Sunday 6th September when the bell will sound once more.
