Loretto Legacy Lab
Loretto Legacy Lab - Applications Now Open!
Thursday 08th January 2026

Loretto Legacy Lab is a brand-new, high-impact business incubator programme, specifically created for Old Lorettonians aged 30 and under.

Led by Natasha, Loretto's Entrepreneur in Residence, this FREE 8-week programme is designed to help young OLs either launch a new idea or grow an existing business with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

Blending strategy, creativity, leadership and real-world validation, the Loretto Legacy Lab will help a small-but-enthusiastic group turn ambition into action, and leverage into longevity.

Who is the Loretto Legacy Lab for?

The Loretto Legacy Lab is open to all Old Lorettonians aged 30 and under who want to:
  • Validate a new business idea
  • Strengthen and scale an existing venture
  • Build a business rooted in values and legacy
  • Join a supportive and engaged community of Loretto alumni

In-person and remote participation are both supported.

What does the programme involve?

There are two different 'labs' available as part of the programme:

Idea Lab
For early-stage founders, the Idea Lab provides structured support to refine your idea, validate your market, create your MVP and establish strong brand foundations.

Growth Lab
For existing businesses, the Growth Lab offers guidance to optimise your business model, refine your brand positioning, strengthen your growth strategy, and build sustainable systems.

For both labs, the Loretto Validation Loop is key. Each week, you'll be helped to design and run a real-world experiment, gather insights and bring your learnings back into the Lab. This loop of testing, feedback and iteration makes the programme highly practical, collaborative and transformative.

What makes the programme unique?

Throughout the programme, participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from successful or retired OLs, including experienced entrepreneurs, leaders, creatives and innovators. Each mentor will offer their own perspective, resources, connections and lived experience, creating a unique, cross-generational learning environment.

In short, the programme taps into the inimitable spirit of Loretto, and harnesses the generosity of the wider Loretto community.

What happens at the end of the programme?

The Loretto Legacy Lab will culminate with a final pitching event where participants will present their validated idea or refined business to a panel of potential investors, and a wider audience of alumni, supporters and industry guests. This event offers a golden opportunity to gain exposure, attract support and showcase the depth of your learning and development throughout the programme.

All participants will leave the programme with:

  • A validated idea or a strengthened business
  • A clear understanding of your customer
  • A compelling and authentic brand narrative
  • A tested offer, MVP, or growth system
  • Increased confidence, clarity and direction
  • An expanded and supportive professional network
