We are delighted to confirm that Loretto Day is returning to the school on Saturday 20th June 2026!For anyone unfamiliar with Loretto Day, this is an annual showcase event held at the end of Summer term for pupils, parents, staff, OLs and Governors to gather, celebrate and enjoy all that is wonderful about the Loretto community.
It is a casual and inclusive day, with guests encouraged to set up picnics and socialise around (arguably) the most important sporting event of the year - the always entertaining OLs vs 1st XI Cricket Match.
We are also planning an even bigger and better Summer Fair with carnival games, inflatables and all the usual stalls.
All OLs are warmly invited to join us on the day and we really do encourage you to visit your old school! We were thrilled to welcome a good turnout of OLs to last year's event and it would be fantastic to see even more of you this year.
So please save this date in your diary, help spread the word around your OL peers, and watch this space for RSVP details!
Further details will be shared in due course but the format of the day is likely to include:
- A morning Chapel service
- Our annual OLs vs 1st XI Cricket Match
- A Summer Fair in the Walled Garden
- An Art Exhibition in Pinkie House
- Music and Pipe Band performances
- Plus lots more!
We will also welcome an even bigger street food village, plus a dedicated drinks tent beside Pinkie Pavilion.
We are already hugely excited about the return of Loretto Day and hope to see lots of you there!
